    Colors

    There are three series of paper-based PaperStone products*:

    1) 'Original', which is made from 50% post-consumer waste, recycled paper
    2) 'Certified', the FSC, Smartwood and Rainforest Alliance-certified product which is made from
    100% post-consumer waste paper.
    3) 'Virgin Series' made from virgin fiber.

    *PaperStone is committed to conversion to 100% post-consumer recycled paper for all of our
    products. We will soon feature FSC-certified virgin sources.

    LEED

    PaperStone is the only architectural solid surface certified by the Forest Stewardship Council for
    using 100% post-consumer recycled paper. It is also certified by Smartwood and The Rainforest
    Alliance. In addition, PaperStone plays a role in enabling a project to acquire Leadership in Energy
    and Environmental (LEED) points towards certification.

    Common Applications
    Its product category is architectural solid surface. It is specified
    by architects and interior designers for commercial and
    residential uses. PaperStone is prepared for final installed use
    by solid surface fabricators.

    It is extremely hard and is practically impervious to water. It is
    scratch resistant and used for cutting boards. It is also highly
    resistant to staining and can bear temperatures to 350¼
    making it an excellent choice for kitchens.
